The Ashy Titans are a netball team that have been training together since the year 2003. After all these years th girls have still remained friends. The team started with 10 players and one girl who trained with them. The players were Clare, Shanyn,Louise,Sabrina,Evelyn,Cat,Meg,Cathy,Mika and Lenore. They were coached by Mikas older sister Kara and her friend Kate. The coaches had been playing for a number of years themselves. The girls lost there first game but were not all that disappointed. They turned up every saturday morning ready for a game that they were always determined to win. Several years later maddy stopped training with them and a new player joined Emily. A season or two later emily was decided to leave as her sister was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The girls were a bit shaken but it but soon moved on.They continued to play each saturday morning. then they reached the age where they recieved awards, the coaches award and best and fairest. Then they began a tradition, after every season, wether it be good or bad, they would meet up at Mc Donalds, Homesglen, and celebrate with a happy meal and a sundae. This is also where they were presented with a gift. They would also have a presentation afternoon at there primary school, Solway, this is whee they would recieve there awards. 4 years later they still do the same thing. In 2007 they were second on the ladder and made it to the preliminary finals but were unfortunately defeated. Now the season is over and the girls will continue to train friday evenings. Soldier X- bio: The way of the world has been misconstrued into disbelief and paper religions. Forget politics for a moment and pay attention to the children that are dying everyday. We have a mentality in this country to live and let die, as long as it doesn’t interfere with “my” gain. We traded in the values that were given by certain elders for other immoral meanings of unforgiven belligerent ways of living. Can we blame each other? Yes, we can and should every moment we receive. As an artist I find great disgust to the direction the state of music has taken. Hip-hop or rap, or whatever it’s called now has lost the meaning of the voice of the people. For centuries there have been oppressed and brainwashed societies, probably since the beginning of it all. And throughout time there have been philosophers and poets which have hit it right on the head. The power is within the people, the masses. Without unity there is chaos. And at the moment, the world is in a state of disarray. Our nation is blind. I am ashamed to say it, but we, as humans are blind or we just simply do not care. What will it take to spark that gene inside of us to wake up? I personally feel that music is an extraordinary tool to reach the masses quickly and bring us together. Following the paramount speakers and writers of the past, including, Emerson, Dylan and Shakur, EPIC VISIONS feels that we are now ready for change and has confidence in the masses. This is not some preachy bullshit sound. This is real. All real. Follow me as I follow the ones who have laid out the blueprints for transformation. EPIC VISIONS-circa 2005 Links: Soldier X Myspace

The Brooklyn Brig, adjacent to the Brooklyn Navy Yard, was originally a federal naval prison and was later used as a City correctional facility before its prisoners were transferred to Riker’s Island in the 1990s. The Brig was built in the early 1940s and served as a naval prison. After the closing of the Brooklyn Navy Yard in 1966, the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service used the Brig as a detention center until 1984 when, faced with severe overcrowding in its prisons, New York City sought ownership of the prison. The Brig served as a minimum security prison until it was closed in December, 1994. The last occupants of the Brig were volunteer workers involved in the post-September 11th cleanup effort. In 2000 he was signed to LL Cool J's Label, Rock The Bells Records. But the label folded and he was released. In 2002, Scola continued to move forward in his music career by joining the Multi Platinum Recprding Music Group Dru Hill. Having been friends with the members of Dru Hill for over 12 years, Scola was a natural fit with the group when he joined one of R&B’s most successful groups. Scola possessed the complete package - silky smooth voice, hypnotizing sound, and incredible songwriting skills - along with his gangsta style with a gentleman’s twist. Everything the group needed to enhance their solid foundation and send a deeper message to their audience. Scola was on the album "The Dru World Order," which was certified platinum. Scola immediately made his presence felt when he co wrote the hit song “I Love You” for the album. BEYOND DWO Dru World Order Scola is a song songwriter and producer. His songwriting credits include the song “Don’t Stop” for the group Ruff Endz from the album Someone To Love You and the songs “My Homie” and “No Matter What” for Woody Rocks album entitled Soul Music & many more for other great artists. Scola also has been known from time to time to lend his pretty-thuggish look and chiseled body to music video directors. Having been cast as the leading man in music videos for Mary J. Blige, Eve, Jill Scott and others. Scola plans to one day move his career into TV and film.
Summer 2007 he dropped a sexy love song CD called “Scola’s Lost Treasures” which features his Classic Hit Let’s Get Personal. That CD is currently available at www.cdbaby.com/cd/scolamusic. He also will be releasing his Solo Album titled ~ From EA 2 Cali in 2007.

The monsters were not portrayed as being scary, but instead fun-loving. Many of these episodes dealt with the human campers trying to fit in with their monster peers. A VHS tape with the first three episodes of the show was released in 1987. As of August 2007, no formal DVD releases have been made. Other cartoons featured on "The Comic Strip" were "Street Frogs," "Karate Kat," and "Tigersharks." These shows also had VHS releases at the same time.

Paradigm Gallery was started by Founder and CEO Hamid Saify in his apartment in Los Angeles and has grown in the last 3 years of operations. With consistent 40% annual growth, maintaining a level of operations excellence created challenges for the company. "We always knew how to grow, but it was certainly challenging to figure solutions for accommodating that growth internally", said Hamid Saify. The company's focus in the next 5 years is to establish a retail presence to compliment their strong position in the online retail world. Paradigm Gallery will open "Galleries", much like the "Studios" offered from industry leader Design Within Reach. The first "Gallery" is scheduled to open in Atlanta in late 2008, followed by openings in Los Angeles, Austin, and Miami. Founder and CEO Hamid Saify talks other goals below, which come from an April 2007 call with a group of venture capitalists: "We're not really at a point right now that we're happy with. Maybe it's just my continuous pursuit to get better but I believe this company will exceed our current accomplishments given the resources available, but obviously with assistance from other sources....like you guys. We want to be on the Internet Retailer Top 500, when that will happen....give us 3-5 years." "Aside from lists and other ego boosts, we love our customers, we absolutely adore them. I hate when we fall short of meeting their expectations and we'll do whatever it takes to remedy the situation. I remember in the early days going and picking up a chair myself from a DHL warehouse just to make a deadline in Los Angeles. I'm very fortunate that we've built a team that shares that same level of dedication. These customers trust us with their design, style, and self image at times, and their money, how can we let them down?" "Too many in this industry think all about money and returns. We're private, so we don't need 200% returns on every item. We'll sacrifice to make sure they (customers) get better items, faster, and at lower prices. Lifetime value is what we're concerned with. Will they think of us after their first order is fulfilled? We think so. Our repeat customer rate is one of the highest in the industry simply because we're willing to sacrifice so our customers gain." It origins from Asia and China where it was a minority-sport for many years. Over the last 10 years the game has become even more popular amongst especially young people in Asia. Rampoogi is similar to western games like baseball. Also elements of golf and dogdeball er present. How it is played: Eight people or more play the game. Two teams are made. One team is starting with the gameball (a small ball about the size of an egg). A hitter hits the ball with a long slim rod. If he hits it further than the end line, the other team shouts rampoogi - hence the name. The goal of the game is to hit the ball inside an outlined field without hitting any of the ciamosi (obstacles wich tip over). For each ball that touches the ground and is not caught or hits a ciamosi is 3 points. If the ball bounces out of bounds a point is deducted. After 4 miss the teams switch sides.
